Whether you want to learn more about FileMaker
databases, how to use them and how they work, or to learn how to build
your own database, this seminar is for you. In one day, you will learn
all you need to be more confident in understanding, using and building
FileMaker databases. |

- You should have basic computer skills
including word processing and spreadsheets, but you do not need any
database or FileMaker Pro knowledge or skills. If you do have experience
with databases, this seminar will fill in any gaps in your knowledge and
give you the opportunity to ask questions.

- You could have a project in mind that you can
start to develop after the seminar. There will be opportunity through
the day to ask specific questions about your databases.

- This seminar is an ideal basis for
understanding FileMaker databases to enable you to better define your
database requirements when working with a database developer. You will
gain a better understanding of how databases store and manipulate data.

Format
While no computers are provided, you are welcome to bring along a laptop
and follow some of the exercises. You will be provided with seminar
notes that you can add to during the day. There will also be downloads
available after the seminar to practice and reinforce your new skills. |

About Your Trainer
David Head is Systems Engineer for
FileMaker Inc., in the Asia Pacific region. He is a FileMaker 11
Certified Developer with over 20 years experience developing FileMaker
solutions for a broad range of users and industries.
David is also a FileMaker Authorised
Trainer and qualified teacher. He is able to communicate complex
concepts and processes in any easy to understand manner so you get the
most from your seminar. David has presented at the FileMaker Developer
Conference and at various conferences and meetings in Australia and New
