Scott Lewis
Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Information Systems
Scott Lewis is Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Information Systems for FileMaker, Inc., a worldwide leader in desktop-to-web database software. Lewis served in several senior operations roles at FileMaker, Inc. before being promoted to Vice President of Worldwide Operations in 1996. He is responsible for all aspects of the FileMaker global supply chain, including planning, procurement, production, distribution, and customer service. In 1998, Lewis implemented a global outsource model for manufacturing and distribution that significantly improved gross margin for the company. In 2000, he assumed responsibility for Information Systems at FileMaker, including all systems infrastructure, ERP development and support, and network, telecom, and helpdesk activities.
Lewis has a proven track record of leading and successfully implementing key projects at FileMaker, including an internally developed web store and sales force automation system, and several other important e-business initiatives. In addition, his strong experience in vendor management and cost reduction has allowed the company to achieve and maintain excellent gross margin results.
Lewis began his career in 1984 at Apple, Inc., where he held several positions in service and support, including customer support manager.
He holds a B.S. degree in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco, California.
