SeedCode Releases SeedCode Hierarchy
Easily add outlines, trees, and hierarchies to your FileMaker Pro solutions.
Seattle, WA - October 30, 2008 - SeedCode's new hierarchy template lets developers easily add hierarchies to their own files. Better than Form or List view, hierarchies let you work with multiple tables in the same place, simplifying your navigation, so you don't have to bounce from layout to layout. The hierarchy essentially reads a section of the solution's relationship graph and depicts the related records as a hierarchy. By following the step-by-step instructions include with the template, users can paste this hierarchical display onto their own layouts.
- Hierarchies help visualize all sorts of relational data: BOM (Bill of Materials), Parts Lists, Contacts and Projects, Invoice Line Items, Product Specifications, Business Intelligence, etc.
- Hierarchies or "trees" are a great way to browse related data, letting your users open and close sections of the hierarchy to reveal the records they want to work with. You can even create, edit, and delete records right from the hierarchy.
- Our hierarchy essentially lets you see related records from different tables in the same portal, meaning less bouncing around to different layouts.
You can find screen shots and a downloadable demo here: http://www.seedcode.com/hierarchy
Pricing and Availability
The hierarchy runs $159.00 USD for a site license; there are no per-seat charges. As always, the solution is completely unlocked for you to modify. Developer licenses are also available if you'd like to integrate our hierarchy with your vertical market application.
SeedCode Hierarchy requires FileMaker 9.0 or higher.
