Excelisys announces new enhancements for the popular Excelisys Business Tracker at FileMaker Developer Conference

Excelisys integrates new features from FileMaker Pro 10 into their widely popular eX-File Jump-Start Solution.

San Francisco, CA (FileMaker Developer Conference) - August 13th, 2009 - Excelisys, Inc., (www.excelisys.com) a leader in the FileMaker community since 2001, is proud to once again be a major sponsor of the annual FileMaker Developer Conference, August 13-16, 2009 being held at the Hilton in San Francisco, CA. And for this auspicious occasion, Excelisys has some very exciting news to announce... but first a little history.

Excelisys rose to new heights when they were hired by FileMaker, Inc. in 2004 to create a solution that would utilize the power of the new FileMaker Pro 7 format. Excelisys created the FileMaker Business Tracker and the rest, as they say, is history. With over 35,000 downloads and a large customer base of satisfied users, the FileMaker Business Tracker was one of the hottest free templates available for download.

Excelisys made much needed improvements to the FileMaker Business Tracker and released their own version in 2006 called the Excelisys Business Tracker (eXBT); incorporating the use of the Web viewer engine, a better multi-user schema, upgraded report interface, Vendor module and inventory control, and several other foundational enhancements. And in 2008, Excelisys updated their eXBT to take advantage of new features introduced with FileMaker Pro 9.

Excelisys is at it again with the announcement of their new Excelisys Business Tracker 3.0 (http://www.excelisys.com/web/exfiles/ex-biz-tracker.php) which includes the integration of additional new features introduced in FileMaker Pro 10. Once again, Excelisys has provided a worthy example of a solid multi-user database system built upon best practices.

The run-down of new features added to the eX Biz Tracker:

New script triggers reduce scripting requirements by handling housekeeping duties on the fly, such as navigation between modules

Sub-summaries now appear in the various list views while in Browse mode

  • Email directly out of the eXBT using SMTP without the need for an email client
  • Track customer activity, such as emails, calls, and other date-related reminders

If you are attending this year's Developer Conference, STOP by the Excelisys booth so you can be one of the first to check out a sneak preview of the new eXBT 3.0! This new version will not be made publicly available on the Excelisys web site until Fall of 2009!

While you are at the booth you can ask about Excelisys' services, peruse their portfolio of clients and solutions, get some other FREE stuff, and of course see demos of the new eXBT 3.0 and their other eX-File jump-start solutions including; eX-Report Card, eX-Mailer, eX-Campaign, and more!
