announces the general release of Absolute Accounting Version 8, a
high-volume, multi-user accounting system written entirely in
FileMaker Pro.
Absolute Accounting is designed by developers for developers to
enable quick and easy integration into existing FileMaker Pro
invoicing and purchase systems. In distribution for over seven
years, Absolute Accounting is incredibly full-featured and tested.
The latest version of Absolute Accounting, Version 8, incorporates
many advances FileMaker features, such as sending reports to PDF
and Excel files.
While popular with small businesses, Absolute Accounting is also
used by large institutions such as the Stephen S. Wise Temple in
Los Angeles, one of the largest Reform congregations in the United
States. Working with Productivity Consulting, the Temple has
developed a FileMaker Pro solution to coordinate all Temple

Future Development
Absolute Accounting predicts that ebanking will become a major
force in the small business world. A custom module to Absolute
Accounting utilizes the web-viewer function in FileMaker Pro 8 to
automatically extract ePayments made at a bank’s web site
and
automatically transfer them to Absolute Accounting. The time saved
in data entry is can be enormous.
