FileMaker Solutions for Improving K-12 Student Performance Featured at 2006 Technology & Learning Conference

will be featured at the National School Boards
Association’s Technology + Learning Conference, November

At 4:30 p.m., Greg Walker, Data Solutions Administrator,
Pinellas County School District, Largo, FL, will present a
FileMaker Pro-based student information system that assesses and
evaluates student performance for the No Child Left Behind Act used
within the county district.
On Wednesday, November 8, two separate school districts will
discuss how their FileMaker Pro solutions have positively impacted
their respective districts. At 11:00 a.m., Bob Barboza,
Resource Specialist for the Paramount Unified School District,
Paramount, CA will conduct his workshop entitled, “The
Complete Teaching Toolbox: from Lesson Planning to Improved Student
Performance using FileMaker Pro.” The workshop will
demonstrate how database solutions can be used effectively within a
school’s academic and administrative operations and how
database technology can be integrated into a variety of subjects
such as science, mathematics and business.

and reporting on student and administrative data. More than 10,000
