Customer Support and Extended Upgrade Pricing for FileMaker 6 Customers To Expire Dec. 20, 2006
Wealth of new features and special pricing make for compelling upgrade
SANTA CLARA, CA – Nov. 28, 2006 – FileMaker,
Inc. today announced that its special program for FileMaker 6
customers, which extended by more than five months the availability
of customer support and discounted upgrade pricing, will expire
Dec. 20, 2006.
While the extended program lasts, licensed owners of FileMaker Pro
6 may upgrade to FileMaker Pro 8.5 or FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced
for upgrade pricing up to $200 less than regular prices.
Owners of other old titles -- FileMaker Server 5.5 and FileMaker
Developer 6 – may also take advantage of extended upgrade
pricing and significant savings until Dec. 20, 2006. For full

Many reasons to move up now to FileMaker Pro 8.5
Earlier this year, FileMaker announced a special extension to its
policies covering customer support and upgrade pricing for obsolete
versions, in order to help “late adopters” make
the transition to the new, award-winning FileMaker Pro 8.5 product
line.

of FileMaker customers to move up to the ease-of-use, rapid
deployment and web-smart features of the FileMaker Pro 8.5 and

FileMaker Pro 8.5 features many new capabilities not available in
FileMaker Pro 6, including “web data on demand”
via the FileMaker Web Viewer, the FileMaker Learning Center,
enhanced security, data capacity up to several terabytes, the
FileMaker Learning Center, a Web Viewer for integrating live Web
data, and support for Windows 2000 and Universal support on Mac OS
X.
