FileMaker Pro 8.5 and FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced Now Available in Turkish
World renowned relational database now available for fast-growing Central and Eastern European markets
GRENOBLE, France. – Feb. 2, 2007 – FileMaker and WinSoft announce that FileMaker Pro 8.5, the #1 selling easy-to-use database software for Windows and Mac, and FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced are now available in Turkish.
FileMaker Pro 8.5 introduced the Web Viewer control, a true industry innovation, that allows users to add a live web page to a record in a database. Data in specified record fields, such as customer’s address or product name, will drive the URL in the Web Viewer. Set it up once and there will be a live web link for every record in the database. Possibilities include street maps based on a customer address field, shipping status based on a shipment tracking number and stock performance charts based on a stock symbol.
FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced includes all the features of
FileMaker Pro 8.5 plus a suite of advanced development and
customization tools to help you design and develop more powerful,
more customized database solutions.
In addition to the new Turkish version, which includes support of
the dotless I Turkish character, FileMaker Pro 8.5 is also
available in the following languages: Chinese
(Traditional and Simplified) Czech, Dutch English,
Extended English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish,
Spanish and Swedish.

Intel-based Macs. On Windows: Pentium III 500MHz or
higher; 256MB of RAM; CD or DVD drive and hard disk drive; SVGA
(800 x 600) or higher resolution video adapter and display; Windows
2000 (Service Pack 4), Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
