SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Feb. 22, 2007 – The role of a FileMaker Pro database solution in improving student achievement and a school’s performance will be showcased at the Virginia Society for Technology in Education Annual Conference (VSTE), February 25-27, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, Virginia Beach, VA. http://vste.org/conference.html.

On Monday, February 26, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., Bill Harman, technology consultant for the Montgomery County Public Schools, Rockville, MD, will present “Data Analysis Demystified: Data and School Improvement.” The presentation will describe how to aggregate and analyze student data using FileMaker Pro to improve student achievement and overall school performance. By using FileMaker Pro Harman demonstrates that data analysis does not have to be an intricate statistical process, using complex tools. Instead, it can be very straightforward, utilizing powerful, user-friendly solutions.
