FileMaker Launches Comprehensive Affiliate Advertising Program

Referring Web sites can now earn commissions on sales of FileMaker products

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Nov. 12, 2007 – FileMaker, Inc. today launched the FileMaker Affiliate Program ( www.filemaker.com/affiliates_pr ), making it possible for participating Web sites to earn paid commissions on sales of FileMaker products. The new program, offered through an alliance with affiliate advertising network Commission Junction, capitalizes on the strong brand and popularity of FileMaker’s award-winning database software. Affiliates can run Web ads to sell current versions of FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Pro Advanced, FileMaker Server and FileMaker Server Advanced.

Extra money with little effort
The process for becoming a FileMaker affiliate is simple. There is no charge to apply for the program and there are no minimum sales requirements. Web site and blog publishers interested in being rewarded for linking to FileMaker products on their sites can start by applying through Commission Junction. Upon approval, interested publishers will receive membership information and specifics about the FileMaker Affiliate Program.

FileMaker provides the banners, graphics and links required to get started with minimal effort. Once affiliates have established links to the FileMaker Store, the program handles the rest. Real-time tracking and reporting enable affiliates to check the status of their commissions at any time. Affiliates can update and modify their account information as well as obtain up-to-date information on site performance via the intuitive Commission Junction interface. Commission Junction provides consolidated payment in the form of commission checks or direct bank deposit. FileMaker Affiliates can have multiple sites.
