myFMbutler releases Clip Manager 2.0 for FileMaker® on MacOS X

Take control of the FileMaker clipboard! AALTER, Belgium -- November 26, 2007 -- myFMbutler today released Clip Manager 2, the innovative tool that allows you to easily manipulate the FileMaker clipboard on Mac OS X systems.


About Clip Manager
myFMbutler's Clip Manager is a program that allows you to store FileMaker fields, tables, scripts, script steps, custom functions and layout objects in an easy-to-use library.

You can copy and store objects that have been copied to FileMaker's own clipboard, and then re-use them later.You can also easily make batch changes to the clippings, and then send the updated field, script, custom function or layout back to FileMaker's clipboard.

What's new in version 2.0 ?

  • Compatible with Mac OS X Leopard
  • Completely redesigned interface - split window views allow extensive customization of the interface
  • Added 'Find and replace' within Clip Manager
  • Added a 'Clip History' option - this allows you to automatically store all elements that are copied from FileMaker in a Clip History database - you can then later search and retrieve them and store them as separate clip files if you like
  • Much improved 'Clips Browser' - you can now 'Create new folder', 'Move to trash' and 'Reveal in Finder' from within Clip Manager
  • Added 'Version', 'Timestamp', 'Author' and 'Window name' fields that allow you to add more information to saved clips
  • 'Preview' window will optionally be shown only when a layout element is selected
  • Integrated the Sparkle update framework

- FileMaker Pro 9/8.5/8.0 Advanced on Mac OS X 10.4.10 or higher, including 10.5.

Pricing and availability
Clip Manager 2.0 is available immediately for EUR 29,- or USD 42,- for a single user license, and EUR 109,- or USD 161,- for a site license.
The upgrade is available for EUR 9,- or USD 13,- for a single user license, and EUR 35,- or USD 51,- for a site license.
All licenses purchased after October 1st, 2007 are entitled to a free upgrade.
