They could also be as simple as receiving current exchange rates, or as complex as performing multiple shipping requests. During this session we'll begin with simple SOAP-based services which can be accessed using plug-ins to retrieve information. From there we move on to look at creating your own web services (again using plug-ins) to make your FileMaker scripts accessible 'from anywhere'. While plug-ins make it easy to deploy web services, sometimes for complex b2b-type solutions this isn't enough, at which point CWP comes to the rescue, and we will explore ways in which you can interact with more complex remote services or where there are additional requirements.
