All 2.0* versions of FileMaker Applications are FileMaker 8.5 compatible. The 2.0* versions of the applications were built on 7 and validated for use with 8 and 8.5.

You can migrate your FileMaker Application to FileMaker 7, 8, or 8.5, though the application would no longer be covered by FileMaker’s support agreement. Free FileMaker 7 and 8.5 compatible upgrades to all FileMaker Applications are available to 1.x* customers via the website

If you purchased a 1.x* version of a FileMaker Application, FileMaker offers you a free upgrade to the 2.0* version of the FileMaker Application; however, you will still need to purchase an upgrade to the current FileMaker product.
