Share in a couple of clicks
Safely share FileMaker Pro databases with with iPad, iPhone, Windows and Mac users.
Sharing basics
Once you create a database in FileMaker Pro it's so easy to share it with others. If your computers are connected to a network, you and up to nine other FileMaker Pro users can access the same database file simultaneously (one license of FileMaker Pro is required for every user). It doesn't matter if you're using an iPad, iPhone or a Windows machine or a Mac, you can securely share FileMaker Pro databases among your team or group.

Send your data in popular formats
You can also share your information in popular formats such as Microsoft Excel or Adobe® Acrobat®. Just choose the Save/Send Records as Excel or PDF, and your FileMaker data is saved in the selected format. You can then send your Excel file or PDF via email in just a couple of clicks.
Sharing with large groups
FileMaker Server software supports secure database sharing with large groups of people. If you choose to share databases with more than nine people at the same time or you need reliable, high-performance access to your data, FileMaker Server 12 supports up to 250 simultaneous FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go users. Or if you have larger groups of people, FileMaker Server 12 Advanced technology does not limit the number of FileMaker Pro connections. Technical limits are imposed only by your hardware, database design, or operating system.
Publish your databases over the web
Securely publish your databases to the web with FileMaker Pro in a couple of clicks using Instant Web Publishing. Create registration sites, customer feedback forms, service requests, surveys and more. FileMaker Pro supports up to five simultaneous web users. If you need to support and share databases with larger groups of people over the web, FileMaker Server Advanced supports up to 20x as many web users as FileMaker Pro.
If you want to build custom, data-driven websites, FileMaker Server has integrated support for PHP or XML. Use the FileMaker API for PHP for maximum control in customizing your website's appearance and functionality.
