NRG Address Validation

What it Does:

This example links the address fields in FileMaker to a Web site which validates an address against USPS data to provide additional mailing information, including whether an address is a business or residence, carrier route, county, congressional district, and more.

How it works:

Here is a sample URL you can enter in your FileMaker Web Viewer Setup dialog:

http://www.nrgsoft.com/webservices/address_validation.lasso?AddrLine3=&AddrLine2=&AddrLine1=PO BOX 3141338&AddrLineLast=MILWAUKEE, WI 53234&licensecode=LICENSECODE

Simply replace the AddrLine values with fields from your database and replace LICENSECODE with a trial code obtained from the Web site for NRG Software at www.nrgsoft.com
