Build quickly and deploy to your workgroup

Easily move to a Server
To deploy a database, Microsoft Access requires you to move to Microsoft SQL Server and start writing SQL statements and Visual Basic applications or .NET code. On the FileMaker Platform, you just upload your file to FileMaker Server to share your database with up to 250 simultaneous Mac or Windows users. It’s really that simple – no modifications to your database so you are done in minutes, not days or weeks.
Publish your database to the Web
The FileMaker Platform provides three easy ways to extend your database to the Web: PHP Web Publishing, XML Web Publishing and Instant Web Publishing. FileMaker Server includes the PHP Site Assistant feature –the first built-in technology that allows knowledge workers to create dynamic web pages with a few clicks. XML Web Publishing works well for data interchange and Instant Web Publishing provides a fast way to deploy simple solutions.
