Custom solutions for complex business challenges
As construction leader Hensel Phelps
grew, the company found itself compiling over $1 billion in project
proposals for construction jobs -- and no centralized bid
management system. Numerous departments across the multi-national
company were each maintaining project and cost information
separately, creating extra work and missed opportunities for
efficiencies. For a solution, Hensel Phelps turned to the Moyer
Group. Using FileMaker Pro, the Moyer Group developed a relational
workgroup solution that controls information about the projects,
subcontractors used, and the project costs -- providing different
levels of access to different people and groups. Now the Hensel
Phelps enjoys centralized consolidation of information that
previously had been spread across the company in a variety of
disparate formats.

Launched in 1995, the Moyer Group has grown to three fully staffed
offices across the United States. The firm's senior managers came
from a variety of backgrounds including Claris (now FileMaker,
Inc), Apple Computer, Scott-Foresman, and Macromedia.
