From the day of its inception, CoachSource has run its business using FileMaker Pro. CoachSource has a stellar client list including some of the corporate world's most recognizable names such as AT&T, Dell, Kodak, MGM/Mirage, Motorola, Sony and Sun Microsystems.

Business Challenge

Underhill wears many hats: not only is he Founder and CEO, but he is also the chief designer of CoachSource's FileMaker solution, which keeps track of the over 700 coaches, more than 40 active projects and 1,000 plus executive clients, as well as billing and payment information. The coaches, experts in many fields, use Instant Web Publishing (IWP) in FileMaker Pro to sign into the database to update their activities, thus eliminating the need for e–mailing reports or invoices.

Updating to FileMaker Pro 10 from an earlier version proved to be seamless. Underhill was delighted that it worked fully with the existing solution when it was first launched.

The new Status Toolbar is very easy to use, especially because we can customize it with the features we use most regularly. The Saved Find feature is an excellent addition too, because there are certain find criteria we seem to run more frequently than others — this feature makes 'finds' much easier.
