Donor statistical reports made easy
In Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, approximately 4,000 abused and neglected children are currently under the protection of the dependency court. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are volunteers who work with a child as a friend and support person and provide a powerful voice in court advocating for the best interests of the child.
CASA Manager data management software makes it easy for CASA agencies to stay on top of busy caseloads and report ing requirements. With CASA Manager, agencies can quickly locate vital information on the details of a child's case, including their location, court information, case outcomes, as well as the names and addresses of the volunteers and professionals who are working with them. CASA Manager also enables staff and supervisors to stay up-to-date on the progress of each child's case and the activities of their Advocates.
"Being able to generate statistical reports is critical but since volunteers are an agency's most valuable asset, it's also important to be able to generate simple things like mailing labels, emails, certificates of appreciation, even lists of who has a birthday this month. CASA Manager makes it all easy."
Susanne Waher, CASA staff member and CASA Manager developerFileMaker Pro was used to create CASA Manager because its easy-to-use, cross-platform and built-in data sharing capabilities allow users to quickly share information across a network or internal website as well as a secure internet access from a remote office or home. Whether an agency has one staff person who does it all, or 30 staff members who share the work load, CASA Manager provides an easy and cost-effective way to keep track of all the details of the case and easily produce statistical reports for the board, donors and the courts.
CASA Manager meets all of National CASA's reporting requirements and is used by over 178 CASA agencies throughout the United States. It was designed and developed in-house by a staff person with 14 years experience working in a CASA agency. It has become an indispensable tool for CASA agencies that use it in the day-to-day management of their volunteers as well as the children they serve.
