If you purchased an early version of FileMaker Pro 7 or FileMaker Developer 7, your installer CD may not contain additional language files (Language Packs) you would need to install should you choose to change the language of your computer's operating system.

Languages included on your CD are indicated on the side of the box. FileMaker Pro 7 can run in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish and Japanese, FileMaker Developer 7 can run in English, French, German, Italian, Swedish and Japanese.

If you decide to switch your computer's operating system to a language we support but was not included on your FileMaker Pro 7 or FileMaker Developer 7 CD, you can download the corresponding language pack for free. Please follow the instructions below:

Windows users

Language Packs are included with the FileMaker Pro 7 v3 and FileMaker Developer 7 v3 updaters.

1. If you haven't already done so, download and install the v3 Update
2. From the "Add or Remove Programs" utility, select "Change" for FileMaker Pro 7 or FileMaker Developer 7
3. Select Modify, pick the Language Pack you need and complete the installation

Mac users

1. If you haven't already done so, download and install the v3 Update
2. Download the Language Pack you need

   • Deutsche
   • Svenska
   • Nederlandse
   • Español
3. Run the Language Pack installer
