What’s new?
This new version of the Bento Preview includes fixes to numerous
customer-reported issues, as well as new functionality.
New functionality includes:
- Quick Look support inside Bento – With the addition of the Leopard Quick Look feature to any Files List field in Bento, you can see documents, images, text files, PDF documents, movies, Keynote presentations, Mail attachments - even Microsoft Word and Excel files - from within Bento before actually opening them.
- iTunes-style search on numbers and dates – Now you have the ability to do a simple search on numbers and dates using the iTunes style simple search box. Prior versions had the ability to search on text only via the iTunes search box with all numerical and date-based searches requiring use of the Advanced Find feature. Now it’s even easier to find what you’re looking for.
- New Summary Row stats – More intuitive statistic titles in the Summary Row now show the “Earliest” and “Latest” values for columns that include dates and times.
Who needs it?
Everyone using an earlier version of the Bento Preview should
download and install this new version. Do not uninstall
your current Bento Preview software. This new version
will overwrite and update necessary files automatically.
