Build-On Tutorial:

Upcoming Tasks

Job Tracking Template: Upcoming Tasks

Overview

Tutorial summary

In this Build-On you will create a report showing tasks which are either overdue or which will be due soon. The tasks will display in groups, so a user can scan the report for priority such as "Past Due," "Today," and "Next Week." This report is particularly handy for administrators or managers, because they can select some or all of the tasks, then email a reminder of those upcoming tasks to the staff members who are assigned to them.

What to expect

When you’re done with this Build-on, your team will be able to: See all upcoming tasks Filter the task list to see those assigned to a single staff member Email one, some, or all of the tasks to the staff members to whom they are assigned
