Build-On Tutorial:

Job Charts

Job Tracking Template: Job Charts

Overview

Tutorial summary

With this Build-On you will give your team quick insights into jobs by creating two charts. One is a bar chart showing tasks by status so you can see how a job is progressing, and the other is a pie chart showing billable vs. non-billable time entries and hours spent in each category.

What to expect

When you’re done with this Build-On, your team will be able to:

  • See a tab just for charts on the Job Detail layout.
  • Quickly see how many tasks are in each status: Pending, In Progress, On Hold, Canceled, or Complete.
  • Compare the total hours spent from billable time entries vs. non-billable time entries, so they can see if a job is healthy or might need extra attention.
