Ferrari, McLaren Automotive, and the Swiss Government have all turned to Keeneight to automate important parts of their businesses.

All of them need to manage requirements and verification that big, expensive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems don’t handle. Keeneight, on the other hand, integrates data and processes using the FileMaker Platform, from product planning and definition through production – all in ways that are specifically tailored to client needs.

Keeneight is an international company specializing in consultancy and development of enterprise software solutions, with a particular focus on engineering and product development. CEO Stefano Morandotti uses the FileMaker Platform to develop solutions that manage requirements and verification. These solutions also integrate data and processes from different systems such as SAP, Microsoft SharePoint, PeopleSoft, PTC Windchill and Dassault Enovia.

We appreciate the new Script Workspace, the button bar, 64-bit support and the top and bottom navigation sections in layout mode. FileMaker 14 is really cutting down time-to-market of our new product releases.

— Stefano Morandotti, CEO

The company’s main product, Itineris, is an innovative system-engineering tool based on requirements management. It integrates data and processes from product planning and definition through production. Itineris, composed of a suite of FileMaker modules, is the result of 14 years of software and process development. Customers include Ferrari, McLaren Automotive and the Swiss Government.

As soon as FileMaker 14 is available, I am releasing a new dashboard module of Itineris that uses a series of plug-ins that already support the 64-bit architecture. Performance is at least 30 percent faster than the previous module – and writing the required scripts took me at least the 40 percent less time than in previous versions of the FileMaker Platform
